According to a recent study its estimated that 40% of women and 22% of men are affected by some form of sexual dysfunction or sexual problem and also more than 50% of men over 40 years’-old experience erectile dysfunctions

Female Sexual Dysfunctions

CLASSIFICATION OF DYSFUNCTIONS
  • Life long – the dysfunction has always been present.
  • Acquired – at some point the person was able to function without the dysfunction.
  • Situational – dysfunction occurs in some situations and not others.
  • Generalised – dysfunction occurs regardless of the situation.

ISD: Inhibited Sexual Desire (ISD):

This is not a sexual dysfunction but a disorder that can disrupt the sexual relationship of a couple. It is an Inhibition of Sexual Desire or Appetite. ISD is classified as a lack of sexual interest a source of personal or relationship distress, instead of voluntary choice.
