Steps to become spiritual
There are many paths to becoming a spiritual person; you can take up a religion, practise or way of life. We have outlined a generic method to cultivate spirituality within you that is applicable across many paths.
“The thing about meditation is; that you become more and more you” – David Lynch
Meditation is to connect with your inner being that also can be called your soul or spirit. We are all made up of energy and we have seven energy centres (Chakras) in our body for seven different purposes. The state of these seven energy centres (Chakras) signal our intuition or also called inner voice. It is only vital that we refresh these energy centres to feel rejuvenated, function at optimum and to live happy.
Meditation removes clutter and brings in focus in all areas of our lives. It removes the negativity and bring in positive feelings, thoughts and experiences. Read more about meditation is Emotional Detox here

- Love and Gratitude
“Learning how to love is the goal and purpose of spiritual life – not learning how to develop psychic powers, not learning how to bow, chant, do yoga, or even meditate, but learning to love. Love is the truth. Love is the light” – Lama Surya Das
“The miracle of gratitude is that it shifts your perception to such an extent that it changes the world you see” – Dr. Robert Holden
Love and gratitude hold the highest frequencies in an energy chart. Love can transform all aspects of your life and through gratitude love can be brought forth.
To cultivate love and gratitude one must constantly give thanks to everything and anything that is working out in your life; this in return will create a positive cycle in your life bringing in more love to all other areas in your life.

“A positive attitude gives you power over your circumstances instead of your circumstances having power over you” – Joyce Meyer
“The successful person and the unsuccessful person are looking at the same world; the difference between them is what they see” – Steve Moraboli
There are two polarities in this world, one being positive the other negative. Positivity takes you to positive places whilst negativity takes you to negative places. Everything is made up of energy and like attracts like. Therefore in order to become spiritual positivity is a dominant factor to – do good, speak good, be good.
“Everything is energy and that’s all there to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality” – Albert Einstein
It is only possible to become spiritual at our own pace, as we are human and a work in progress. We each have our own paths to live. The above three steps can practiced daily until your intuition directs you to further steps that would suit you best.
